About BCG
Brisbane Camera Group, inaugurated in 1949, is a friendly club for photographers at all levels, from beginner to advanced.
We encourage the development of photographic skills and artistic creativity through lectures, workshops, competitions and other club activities.
Visitors are welcome to attend any of our meetings, and do not need to be invited or give prior notice. Please introduce yourself at the front desk attendee if it is your first meeting. You do not need to bring a camera or any photographic equipment to regular meeting nights except when notified.
Regular Meeting Venue:
Club meetings are held at 7:30 pm at Albion Peace Centre, 102 McDonald Rd, Albion

Meeting Nights
- 2nd Monday of the month: Lecture/Workshop Meeting
- 3rd Monday of the month : Digital Group Meeting focussing on digital capture and image processing. Please see the Digital Night Page regarding Image Submissions for the Image Show.
- 4th Monday of the month: Competition Meeting

Membership
From January 2012, new members will receive a membership badge as part of the joining fee. Membership fees will remain the same.
- Full membership - $10 joining fee + $50 membership
- Concession membership - $10 joining fee + $25 membership
- Family membership - $20 joining fee + $75 membership
- Renewing memberships are $50 (full) and $25 for affilliate
