Brief

The role of the Welcoming Officer is to ensure that visitors and new club members are made to feel welcome and given the opportunity to meet and interact with other club members and participate in club activities if they wish.

The Welcoming Officer informs visitors of upcoming club activities.  The Welcoming Coordinator’s Assistant provides help to the Welcoming Officer and takes on the Welcoming Officer‘s role when the Welcoming Officer is unavailable.

Primary Duties

Provide assistance to the Welcoming Officer as required.

Auxiliary Duties

Act as the Welcoming Officer when the Welcoming Officer is away for an extended time.
