Joining a camera club means different things to different people. You may be a beginner looking for guidance or maybe you do not own a camera yet. You may be reasonably experienced in handling your camera. You may be very experienced in all facets of photography.
Brisbane Camera Group has been catering for photographic enthusiasts since 1949. We have a vibrant membership drawn from all over Brisbane. Meetings are held at Albion Peace Centre, 102 McDonald St, Albion . Parking is available on site.
Individual members are always willing to share their enthusiasm and are interested in a variety of subjects including action photography, dark room techniques, digital photography, fine art photography, landscape photography, monochrome photography, nature photography, macro photography, pinhole photography, portrait photography, social documentary and travel photography.
Our monthly magazine ‘Impact’ keeps us up to date with what has been happening and what is coming up. It also contains book and exhibition reviews, photographic articles and details of local events of interest to BCG members.
This website contains a variety of information including a calendar of events, results from recent competitions and a gallery of members’ images.
