The annual PSQ photography convention (and competition) will be held in Hervey Bay on the Queen's birthday weekend - 7 to 9 June 2008. To submit a club entry BCG needs members to bring their images to the meeting on Monday 12 May 2008.

The following subjects categories will be available in all formats, ie, Small Prints, Large Prints and Projected Images.

Subject 1 Pictorial: "Any subject that is treated pictorially, embodying the elements of good design, arrangement or composition, which reflects the personal interpretation of the photographer". (from APS web site).
Subject 2 Landscape/Seascape/or Urbanscape
Subject 3 Steps (Lateral thinking is encouraged!)

The available formats are:

Small Prints ( Colour & Monochrome) - Mount Size:
Mount size 8” x 10” (to accommodate the members who wish to send in photos developed by labs, the largest size of which is 6 x 9")

Large Prints (Colour & Monochrome) – Mount Sizes:
Two sizes are permitted –
11” X 14” (so that they fit into the Queenslanders Competition frames); and
16” x 20” (400 mm x 500 mm)

Projected Images: This includes Slides, Super Slides and Digital Images.
Slides will be judged separately from Digital Images.
