Each year the photographic clubs of south-east Queensland come together to participate in three major interclub competitions:

Interclub projected image competition (digital only)

Bill Smit Shield competition (slide only)

River City Print Competition (print only)
Following are the details for this year's competitions.
2008 Interclub projected image competition
The 2008 competition, hosted by the Gold Coast Photographic Society
(http://www.gcps.org.au/ ), will be held at 10:00am Saturday 12 July at
Nerang RSL, 69 Nerang Street, Nerang. Admission is $3 per person and
the due date for entries is Friday 27 June, 2008
2008 Bill Smit Shield Competition
Queensland Camera Group Inc. (QCG) (http://www.qcg.org.au/ ) will host the Bill Smit Shield
Competition for 2008 on Thursday 31 July, commencing 7:30PM at the
Bardon Community Hall, Bowman Park, 247 Simpson’s Rd Bardon. Admission
is $5 per person and entries are due by Friday 11 July 2008.
2008 River City Print Competition
Wynnum Bayside Camera Club (http://wbcc.net.au/ ) is hosting the River City Prints Competition
on 9 September 2008. The competition comprises 4 categories:

A Grade Monochrome

Non A Grade Colour

Non A Grade Monochrome
