The Club annually shows and rewards the best work from the year. Entries may have been submitted in a monthly competition during the year, or may be new work. Entries must be submitted on the club night prior to the relevant Annual Competition (as marked in the 2007 Program). Annual Competition RulesSlide / Digital Projected Image / Print Each graded member is permitted to enter a total of eight (8) images in each of the subject sections (see below) of the Annual Competition. These eight (8) entries may be any combination of print or slide or digital projected images, so long as the number of images submitted in any one of these media does not exceed four (4) entries. For example, you may have 4 prints and 4 slides OR 4 prints and 2 slides and 2 DPI OR 4 slides and 4 DPI. Ungraded members may submit up to 4 entries in the Miniprint section only. B Grade members may also submit images in the miniprint category, in lieu of entries in the Pictorial Colour section. All entries must have been taken by the competitor, but may be non-owner-processed. Digital prints are acceptable in all print sections. The Committee may extend or vary these conditions on notice. Audiovisuals The subject is open in all sections - B Grade, A Grade, International Grade and Group. In August 2003 an additional Digital Section was introduced into the Annual Audiovisual Competition, open to all members and having open subject matter. From 2004, Slide and Digital entries were combined in each section & were judged together. Digital entries to be on CD-R in self-executable or other standard PC digital format, in the form of a manually programmed sequence of still images with soundtrack. Full-motion video is not permitted.
