APSCON 2010 is getting closer Print E-mail

APSCON 2010 will this year be held in the Queensland town of Roma, the Capital of the Western Downs. From Saturday 18 to Friday 24 September Attendees will be able to enjoy talks from local, National and International photographers.

 Roma is situated on the intersection of the Warrego Highway and the Great Inland Way, 335Km west of Toowoomba. Quantaslink, Greyhound Coaches and Queensland Rail have regular services from Brisbane, Gold Coast, and other centres.

The main convention venue is the superb Roma Cultural Centre which features the impressive 18 square metre clay Bicentenial Mural depicting the diverse history, industry and culture of the greater Roma district.

Historic homesteads and other buildings, birdlife, Romaville Winery, Australia's largest cattle selling facility and spectacular sunrise and sunsets make for fantastic photographic opportunities. 

The program and registration form for APSCON are now available on the APS web site.  Intended attendees are strongly advised to book accommodation early as the town could we be full with APSCON, a cattle sale and other events.  Accommodation details are here
