Six day “Red Centre Experience” – Michael and Mark are returning to the “Red Centre” for a 6 day photography workshop, after last year’s very successful back-to-back workshops. During this workshop, participants will be able to photograph iconic locations such as Uluru, Kata Tjuta, King’s Canyon, Trephina Gorge, Alice Springs Desert Park and more. NEW!!! - Eight day Bowra Birding and Bird Photography Workshop – Michael has teamed up with one of Australia’s foremost birding guides, Barry Davies, to create a unique workshop designed specifically for those interested in bird photography. Barry will use his extensive knowledge to not only find many species of birds but will also teach participants what to look for when searching for birds themselves to photograph. Michael, with many years of experience as a wildlife/bird photographer, will teach participants how to take best use their cameras/lenses to take great photos of birds. NEW!!! - Seven day “Lord Howe Island Experience” - Michael will be presenting this workshop with guest Trekabout tutor and professional photographer, Darren Jew. Darren has presented 5 separate week-long workshops to Lord Howe Island in the past and with Michael, will be offering all participants loads of photographic opportunities and tuition on one of nature’s most stunning islands. Some of the tuition topics include sunrises (3 separate locations), landscapes, birds as well as underwater photography (snorkeling) while on a boat cruise. Six day “Norfolk Island Experience” - Michael and Mark will take you to glorious Norfolk Island again this year to present this workshop. Photographic subjects will include convict ruins, landscapes, sunrises, birds, a beautiful old church with stained-glass windows and more. A great place to get away from it all while at the same time learning how to take better photos of plenty of great subjects and locations! Starting on Sunday the 30th of October 2011.
