Ethical Photography in Sensitive Situations
David Lloyd and Angela Blakely began working together in 1995 when commissioned to document the Australian Army’s involvement in the Rwanda crisis. On their travels together and separately through Somalia, Bosnia, Malawi, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Australia and many other countries, Lloyd and Blakely have worked in highly sensitive areas documenting health and social issues. Brisbane Camera Group is pleased to host Angela & David who will be talking about Ethical Photography in Sensitive Situations.
Competition Topic Discussion
June's competition set subject, "Wide Angle" will be discussed for ideas and inspirations in competition entries.
Image Critique
Bring along some images to have them appraised by our panel before you submit them for competition. Image evaluation and critique will take place on our 'Focus' nights on the second Monday of each month. An ad-hoc panel will offer tips and suggestions for improvement of images brought in by members.
There is no competition or winner, just constructive comments on how to improve your images.
- Members are welcome to bring along up to 4 images
- Please bring your images on a USB stick, SD or CF card
