The Street Seen Exhibition is a free event that showcases street photography.  Street photography captures candid moments in public places. Each day we see people going about their lives, we see normal people doing quirky things and the mundane becomes interesting. This exhibition documents people in their everyday environment and shows the interplay of shadows; ordinary objects merging together to create something extraordinary; mirrored gestures and other types of echoes; humour and much more. It is one of the most challenging, but at the same time, one of the most rewarding genres of photography.

Brisbane Camera Group is excited to present the inaugural Street Seen Exhibition at the Percolator Gallery. This is a first for Brisbane and our aim is to present photographs of chance encounters and random incidents so that we can inspire and educate people and raise awareness and support for Street Photography.
