Membership Information

The types of membership and annual fees are:

• Single - $75
• Family - $100 (for two people)
• Concession - $40 (available to those members who are on a Centrelink or DVA issued pension of any sort or on application to the committee)
• Junior - $30 (available to those members aged 15 to 17)
• Affiliate - $50

Membership is from 1 January to 31 December. Members joining after 30 June pay half fees for the remainder of the year.

In addition, there is a joining fee of $20 for new members, which goes toward the membership badge.

BCG Member benefits

• Participation in club and inter-club competitions;
• First choice of limited places at BCG outings, workshops and special events
• Contribute to the future direction of BCG by taking up a committee or support role
• Voting at the AGM

BCG Affiliates enjoy the same benefits except that they are not eligible to participate in competitions, vote at the AGM nor become a committee member.

Public Liability Insurance

BCG is affiliated with the Photographic Society of Queensland (PSQ), through which it has public liability insurance. Details of the insurance policy are available at:

How to join Brisbane Camera Group

1. Application
   • Complete and submit your membership application using Create An Account - see the box below and also at the bottom of the Login page.
   • Enter your email address as your login and use it in the future as your login ID. An individual email address is required to join Brisbane Camera Group.
2. Payment
   • Pay your dues by credit card on-line using PayPal (preferred option).
   • Membership can also be paid using Direct Deposit to our bank account.
3. Membership approval requires payment of dues. If you would like to enter the BCG competitions, please check the Competition Grading Procedure.
4. Your BCG account will be activated when notification of both registration and payment have been received by the Committee.
